Abstract
The density, glass transition temperature, and optical characteristics of tellurium-based glasses including , and are studied in this chapter. The density and glass transition temperature of the current gases vary with mol % The values of the direct optical band gap, indirect optical band gap energy (E0) , and Urbach energy ( ) have all been calculated from the optical absorption research. The values of (E0) and ( ) vary linearly with mol %
