Abstract

Currently, the prognosis of many diseases is frequently suspicious or unknown. The reason for the present moment is the consequences of reckless role of human mankind towards nature and irresponsible use of antibiotics since when the antibiotics were revealed. The health of the human beings and livestock in the near future remains obscure if the same state of indiscriminate use of antimicrobials is continued. As a result, the decline in antibiotic efficacy necessitates the development of novel strategies and elements to combat global antimicrobial resistance. Bacteriophages are one such antibiotic substitute that can be beneficially used in a variety of fields such as therapeutics, bio fermentation, food processing, and so on.
